We have two "flower bed toads" here at our place. I forbid my daughter to catch them. I like going out to work in my flower beds and having them hop around my feet.

I, too, love most things creepy crawly. My husband is *terrified* of snakes, LOL. I'm always running to go pick them up and see what they are.

Cute froggies!! I have those around my yard too, I also have blue belly lizards, alligator lizards, and toads. The lizards are always basking in the sun on my front porch. Sometimes they come in the house because there is a crack under the front door.

One of the alligator lizards live in the garage. There was a beautiful snake in my driveway the other day. There are so many gophers here that I do not think the snakes care to go into the nest boxes, at least I have never seen one in there!! Haven't seen a horned toad in years though.
