Playscape Chicken Coop

Hi Everyone! I am so happy I found this site and just signed up today. We got our 7 baby chicks a few days ago and are currently planning to build our chicken coop and run out of our child's old playscape. We are in CT and have every imaginable predator not to mention our two curious dogs. Any advice from those of you who have done this before?

Hardware cloth instead of chicken wire. Add an apron also. At minimum a 28 sq ft coop (4 sq ft per bird) and a 70 sq ft run( 10 sq ft per bird).

Maybe even bigger in CT...Chicken Cabin Fever is real and it's Ugly.

I had to look up what a Playscape was and IF I WAS GOING TO BUILD A COOP OUT OF A PLAYSCAPE...I'd definitely build it out of THE HAPPY HOLLOW TREE HOUSE! (Which by th way retails for $3199.00. But then again I once bought a pistol for $3000 but it was a Wilson Combat 1911 so give me a break!)
