new duck owner here, recently got 2 runner ducks who are around six weeks old. we tried to integrate them with our chickens and one of our ducks was pecked at and started bleeding. The bleeding was dealt with and we separated them and have opted to give the ducks their own coop and run, however now our other duck is pecking at the previously injured duck. We have used Hen Healer, BluKote, and No More Pecking, and nothing has stopped the pecking. We thought it might have been boredom but even when they are outside roaming with their pool and snacks he will still eventually peck at her. On top of this we will be going away for a week, we have someone coming to check in on the ducks but we are looking for a quick solution. please we are looking for any advice and help!!

Then separate that duck. Is it trying to mate?
How long should u separate them for? They are 6 weeks old, it doesn’t seem like they’re trying to mate. We have had them separated for a few days now but when we reintroduce them we’re still seeing pecking

A few days is usually enough, even if it's by a screen so they can still see each other.

Do not put ducks with chickens. You will have a nasty, bloody death to deal with if your male duck mates with a female chicken. The best thing to do is separate the ducks from each other and wait until the female duck heals before she is put in with the male again. Birds are attracted to blood and will consistently peck at a wound.
