Please Advise!!

We got 2 2-month- old chicks from the feed store and we are 2 weeks in to our quarantine from our other hens. Just found one had passed. Should I be concerned? What do I do?

We have 2 other hens (haven't been in the house with them yet) and two small dogs. The kids pick them up

Was the deceased one showing any symptoms?
I wouldn't worry about the kids and the dogs. The quarantine period is to protect the birds you already have. Most feed stores get their chicks from hatcheries, which are vaccinate against disease and are NPIP certified.
It may have just received less than stellar care at the feed store or succumbed to the stress of living there and being moved.
