We have two spiny softshell turtles, a male and female. The massive female has seriously hurt our smaller male many times, so it is time for the male to find a new home. He is blind, so will need to be kept inside. He will eat turtle pellets, rosy minnows, mealworms, koi fish food, and bloodworms, brine shrimp, tubifex worms, etc. He will reach 18 inches max, tho he seems exceptionally small. His shell is scarred and if it becomes infected may need some care, namely methalyne blue, which can be squirted into the water. His tank must be cleaned weekly. He can live in a large tank/pond with largish fish, though he may be picked on by other turtles. Please PM me or post if you can take this little cutie! We are located in Southern California. Please, he needs a loving home!
Ps I will also post pics soon!

Np! Awh lol thats so cool i pet he sounds soo cool i looked hios breed asnd he looks so cool!! There is a HUUUUUGGEE snapping turtle the lives just down the road from us hes like 3 feet wide we nicknamed him but i cant remember what his nickname was xD He use to try to walk across the road so my mom took a huge stick and let him bite on it and tried to pull him by the tail to turn him around toward his pond lol

When we go to Maine we catch snappers with chicken on fishing line! No hooks, so we just let em go. Also, freshwater eels and blue crabs. We have seen little kids splash around in the lake while we catch 15 pound snappers! They are so relentless. They won't even let go of the chicken! Once I nearly had to beat one with a stick when it wouldn't let go! We would move them out of the road constantly! Crazy! And I know spiny soft shells are so beautiful and cool!

Oh wow thats isn crazy! Yeah my my mom used to live in fort myers florida. She would catch huge fish i think they where ether blue fin tuna or grouper not sure but it was crazy! And they had some huge snappers down there!
