Please clarify some info from the assisted hatch guide! Possibly urgent!

They had been stuck at external pip. I know it can take a long time between internal and external pip. TheY stayed at external without progress a long time (12 to 18 hours). The two ended up making new progress at close to the time to check on them, but the other two did not. Took it slow, gave them chances to take over, but they were really stuck for many hours And trying to turn but unable. But no blood loss, no unabsorbed yoke... good as can be for an assist I think.
