Yang wondered why she didn't hear any horses, and why all of the other stalls where so filthy while the one she was in hardly had a speck of dust. She ate some of the food they gave her, having decided that it might be better if it were poisoned - then she wouldn't have to live here any longer.

She glared at him and tossed her head, her spirit somewhat dimmed because she now knew the food wasn't poisoned. "Oh, kill me, why don't cha!" the Hackney muttered, laying her ears back.

The vet pet her stomach, and checked on her scar. "Well in about a month we can put her in for surgery to get the foal out." He said to a two-leg.

Ceratos whimpered, feeling pain in his stomach, and missing his mom.

Yang kicked the vet half-heartedly in the face, catching his chin and knocking him backwards. "Get out of here," she said crossly.

(In time lapse, a month would be about two days, right?)

The vet gave him a shot. "Should be good enough in a week or so," he informed the stablehand standing nearby.
