I bought her as a pullet. I PAID for a pullet. Please tell me she's a pullet.

She has always had a few of these weird little tail feathers that stick out further than the others. Looks like she is losing those now though. Those things have always made me question Ester's sex.

Verdict?

I'm having issues with my Leghorn right now, so I'm not the best authority, BUT

Judging from the tiny, almost non-existant pale looking comb, I'd say girl.

And from the fact that all the feathers look round and soft and girly (very scientific opinion) I'd say girl.

And apparently Girls can have big tails, it's when they get nice and arched and looooong that you should worry.

So theres my 2cents, good luck.

And if you paid for a pullet (I'm guessing from the way you phrased it that you paid more for a pullet) and she turns out to be a he, Head back to the store and tell 'em what for

Good Luck!!

I would say Definitely a pullet. And looks just like my Bunny's twin! My EE roo crowed at 9 weeks.

He had huge, very red comb and wattles

Well, I'll vote she as well. I've read that the male EE's will usually have 3 rows of comb, the females one, and she has one. I bought 6 EE "pullets," and one is obviously a roo. This comb rule works for all of mine. Plus, my EE roo had pointy saddle feathers at 12 weeks and I don't see them on yours.

Let's just hope Mahonri's suspicions are unfounded!

You bought a pullet and looks to me like you got a pullet!!!!
