Suburban,
Find and buy some local, raw, unheated honey. It tastes much better than the stuff from the store, which has been heated and strained, losing much of the flowery tastes.
Then find a beekeeper, go look at his hives and get her to come along.
Bees generally are not a problem for people, even when kept in town.
