Please help - a newbie with a lame hen :-(

Hi - I'm a total novice - we got 4 guinea fowl and a hen a week ago. A couple of days after we got them when I went to check on them in the morning the hen couldn't put weight on one let.

They have been a in a closed crate (large) and she doesn't seem to have anything wrong with her foot. She can stand on both legs but as soon as she tries to put weight on only one she falls over. She's still eating and drinking normally and she's getting really good at hopping ! but do you think she will get better on her own?

I'm taking her back to where I got her to see what they say.

I took her back and they changed her for a new hen. According to the livestock place I bought her from its quite usual for that to happen !

Yep, I had no idea why that would have happened.
