I'm a chicken person first off yesterday was the first time I held a duck and she is sweet as can be. So I'm on a mission to do everything I can for this little quacker.
Yesterday one of my neighbor who has a pair Ducks white ones and a good 20 chicks ... one being an old Roo and another being a young feisty up and coming Roo...
Well our young rooster decided he would jumped on and peck the heck out this little girl duck nostrils..
I have cleaned her wound as best as I could ... looks to be a little more yuck inside nostril that may need cleaned. I know the bill is a very sensitive area so I did not want to Over clean it and cause her anymore pain..
But this is where I need help she keeps tilting her head as far back as possible until she flops over and she keeps doing it I got her to rest comfortably last night in a very plush padded environment.
I just don't know what to make of the leaning back and flopping over where what to do how about it do not have the resources to take her to the vet and she is part of my neighbor's family I set up with this little lady to keep her warm calm and help her through her ordeal if anyone has tips ideas it would be greatly appreciated I'm walking blindly in the maze on this one

Sorry to say it was a sad ending to the matter but she is in a better place now.. no longer suffering she passed last night. Took a little chunk of the heart with it but now I'm addicted to ducks and we'll have to hatch out one or two for my flock..

That’s so sad! I’m sorry your duck died. I know it’s hard on you when something goes wrong with them.
