PLEASE help ASAP

Thanks! I don't know why they left him....maybe they couldn't catch him? It still makes me mad when I think of him being abandoned though. Poor little guy. I have become so attached to him LOL! He can be really far from the house, and I call his name (we have 7 acres)....and it's so funny he comes running on those little chicken legs as fast as they will carry him!

He knows his name, because if I call the cats name, he won't respond (I spend a LOT of time talking to him). Oh, that's another thing.... when he first showed up, everyone said, "watch out, roosters are mean" etc....but he is sooo gentle. He eats with the 4 outside cats, and during the summer, he would even lay with them in the sunny part of the yard...never showed any aggression towards the cats. Since I adopted him....I can't eat chicken anymore:lol: ....Just can't do it!

So....maybe he is so docile because he doesn't have hens? I'm glad to know that....I'll be careful once the girls get here LOL!

Kat, that is so kind of you to take Bach in. I hope you enjoy him, and any other future chickens you might have!

Well he's beautiful! I think I have much to learn about my feathered friend, but you guys are great! Thanks to everyone for the quick replies. I'm off to work now, but as soon as I can I will post a pic of how he looks now (he is GORGEOUS now that he has filled out and got his tail feathers back!) I'll post them tomorrow! Have a nice evening and nice to meet you all!
