Please help! Baby chick is lame.

Sometimes it's better to weed out chicks with birth defects or health issues.Its better not to take chance they will have offspring passing on issues.I don't mean to sound cruel but not every animal is meant to live.

I gave her vitamin b and polyvisol 3 times yesterday and once this morning. I never saw any improvement, and when I went out to check on her around lunchtime today and give her her next dose she was dead. It is sad that I couldn’t help her and I still wonder what went wrong. All the other chicks still seem fine, so this is a mystery to me.
