Both of this baby's feet are totally curled in like you wouldn't believe. She also has appeared to have injured one of her feet, as it as some purple discoloration and heightened sensitivity. I called a few vet places, and they are either closed, don't handle birds, or don't really know what to advise me to do. She doesn't seem to have motor control of her feet and can barely get around- they look limp and underdeveloped. She is doing the equivalent of hiking/flopping herself around by trying to wobble on her "ankle" joints. Some eating, some drinking. She has a strong bond with another female chick, and the friendship keeps her happy. But I can tell she is in pain. She is always trembling at least a little, always looking for seething to prop herself up against. Please help me help this baby, this is my first time raising chicks.

I splinted one of her feet. I don't think it's very good but it's helping her. Trying to figure out how to best splint the other more injured foot

I found out why I can't tape her other foot as easily as the other. One of her feet is so curled under she is walking on her ankle joint. It's turning purple and is completely bent under. What should I do?
