Last night driving home from work I saw a duck standing on a sewer grate and decided to turn around to see if any ducklings had fallen in. To my surprise there were 9 ducklings about a day old so I called a co-worker who helped me lift the grate open and get them out. All we’re doing fine except for one that was twitching and couldn’t walk. I thought it had broken a leg from the fall into the sewer so I brought it home and put him under our heat lamp and gave him some food and water. Now today he is walking just fine and don’t know what to do with him. We just tried finding the mom but had no luck. I have the time to raise the duck but I am just worried he is going to die of loneliness. What should I do? I was going to get a mallard duckling from tractor supply but they don’t have any at the moment what should I do?
