My d'Uccle has a bloated crop. There does not seem to be anything in it just air and water. Can anyone help me on this. If bacterial will sulmet help? Would Tylan 50 help? I have syringes here too would relieving the pressure help by pushing it in the crop--not something I want to do unless someone had tried this before and it worked....

Please help if you have had this problem and know what to do!!

How long has it been this way? Is the bird eating and drinking? Have you tried checking FIRST thing in the morning, before the bird has had access to food, to make sure that it's staying bloated????

No. If they've had no access to food overnight, then the crop should empty out overnight, then become engorged again as they constantly eat throughout the day. I would pen this bird separately so that you can easily monitor whether she's eating, drinking, and pooing. If she IS, then I'd probably not stress about it. But if she's not eating within a few hours, then you could try getting a little olive oil down her and massaging her crop gently to help break any blockages down.
There's not a bad smell coming from her beak is there???
