PLEASE HELP!! Barn Swallows parenting!

If you have never hand raised anything and haven't done lots of research I would not try to hand raise barn swallows. There is far more to it than crush up worms and put it in their beak. You are just as likely to cause their death trying to help them as they are to die if you leave them. They are not exactly an easy bird to hand raise. I would just call a wildlife rehabber tomorrow and hopefully either the other parent will return or they will survive until someone who knows how to care for them can take them. The bird you have is just as likely to be the father since both parents may spend most of the time feeding and sitting with the young.
