Please help!!! Can ducks eat chicken livers????

So my hubby put a baby catfish in the ducks' water tank, and the catfish died. That means the pieces of liver that were put in for catfish food are still in there. Should I dump the water and refill it or not worry about it??? I'm worried that the livers will get eaten by the ducks and make them sick or that they won't get eaten and will rot, resulting in the ducks getting sick. Thanks!!!!

I would clean it, who knows what yuckness killed the fish, it could still be there.
