Sounds like he just needs a little TLC for a few weeks and should be back to normal, I hope...

Cats and dogs too I believe, but definately cats are lactose intolerant.

Cows milk will tear their stomaches up. Goats milk or the store's "Lactose Free" Milks are fine for cats. - However just mixing water in dry food or just giving wet food will give him the needed hydration.

I hope he does well and gets well soon!

Well, I went out to the barn and checked on him awhile ago. I gave him half a can of tuna----in water----and when he was done, I milked one of my does and gave that to him. You would not have believed the position my doe and I were in to accomplish this feat! It's not that easy to direct the milk into a cereal bowl while holding your goat's hind legs over your other forearm! She did NOT like what I was doing one bit-----oh, anyone got a cheap milking stand sized for pygmies?LOL
