I am sick and tired of picking up cat crap all over my garden! Man and does it stink! They are going where I plant my vegetables in the spring and potentailly contaminating the soil.

I can't spray them with water - they're got before I can even turn on the hose!

I have tried cayenne pepper - was away when it rains.

PLEASE does anyone have something that will keep them out of my yard????

Grab some old chickenwire, lay it down on your soil, if the cats can't dig they won't go.

Useful compromise, put a box of sand out by the garden, for them to go in. yes you'll have to dump a box, but much better than sifting for garden tootsie rolls.

get yourself a pump up bb gun. Dont pump it up that much so that when you shoot the cat the bb does not embed itself into the cat (providing your not wanting to kill the cat). A time or two of getting hit with a bb and the cat will learn to use somebody elses garden.

Really, the chicken wire (you are a chicken owner, you should have some about) idea is the best one so far. BB guns are fun though

I recommend a cat enclosure if people want to have their cats outside.I am building one for my own cats this summer with a walkway over the chicken run, lol. I trap and remove the cats that come into my yard.I don't have extra time or money anymore to deter other peoples pets from my yard.

Pee right under the windows on a warm summer day is nasty too especially from tomcats. Hope you find something that works.

Some people use the sensor motion garden sprayers.

Please will you come be my neighbor????????

I have three cats and they use to do the same thing. I used chicken wire like others have suggested. Use tent stakes to keep it nice and flat to the ground then cover with a very thin layer of mulch. When I'm ready to plant I have nice rows already lined up

The problem is it is not only my veggie garden, when I say garden I should say yard (sorry the british influence).

They are leaving their "tootsie rolls" as one elequent poster termed it, all over my yard!
