please help Chick is Over Due, will this egg hatch?

Thank you
Thank you

I am not yet sure what went wrong. I think I am going to google more the egg and membranes looked good the yolk had nice veining. So I am not ruling out temp and humidity, but I am looking for other things as well. I am going to pay better attention to cleaning incubators. I am going to read about a breeding diet to see if something is missing there. The hen is on layer pellets fermented and dry. With side of oyster shell. The Rooster is about 8 months old but he did fertilize. He is on 18 - 20 % grower feed and they spend a few hours everyday on play date with grass bugs and each other. I will also use more than one gauge in the incubator to check for sure. So lots of reading ahead and I will most likely wait to try again until next spring if this last set starts and fails I may even go back and ask a broody ;)

If you can think of anything else I should look for or into please let me know. I love to learn and read.

Read this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...s-bantychooks-and-more.1137467/#post-17631705 and any of the other incubation/hatching articles on here, there are a few and they are all good.
I would think that the best place to start with what went wrong with your hatch is with your incubator and your instruments. Incubator thermometers and hygrometers are notoriously wrong. Always use an independent, calibrated (by you) thermometer and hygrometer so you will know exactly what is going on in your incubator.
What kind of bator are you using? Forced air, still air (does it have a fan or not?)? Apologies if this comes off as an inane question but sometimes folks don't know what the terms mean. The temp in a still air needs to be around 102degs. and about 99.5 in a forced air. Humidity should be about 35 -40% throughout incubation until you have your first external pip and then you goose it to about 65% for the hatch.
How does this compare to your last incubation?

I have farm innovators digital and another older one that is not digital the temp stayed 99.5 but the humidity has been a challenge between 23% and 53% depending on the home AC unit. Another reason for spring / Feb hatch. I will post pic.

I have auto turner for both but wonder if it is not giving enough movement to bantam eggs?

Sorry it didn't work out too well this time.
:hugs
Do you have calibrated thermometers in besides the one that comes with the incubator?

Temp looks low but I just opened it to check the hydrometer

I did not have it in with digital until today.

I have been keeping it closed except to add a drip of water in the morning. The eggs in there now we're set the 30th in hopes today's chick would not be alone long. Turns out it won't be cuz the last egg that died I kept the fetus in freezer. I will burry them together in my flower bed.

Also...did you do the salt test in a zip lock bag on with your hygrometer?
