Wow he is beautiful. Isn't there something funny about breeding them, like you have to cross a splash with a blue to get something and if you cross a splash with a splash you get a blue. I know this is totally wrong but it is something like that, I think

how many chickens do you have? did you count them before your new ones hatched or after?

These are the different combinations when breeding Blue, Black, and Splash (BBS) birds:

Blue x Blue = 25% black, 50% blue, 25% splash
Blue x Black = 50% black, 50% blue
Blue x Splash = 50% blue, 50% splash
Splash x Black = 100% blue
Black x Black 100% black
Splash x Splash = 100% splash
