I apologize in advance for a probably common question, but I have done a lot of research and can not determine the breed of one of my hens. Probably four or five year ago, we bought her at a county fair. She is a pretty bird, but kind of elusive. I intend to try and show her again at my local fair, and so I truly need to know her breed. Her description is as follows:
Grey legs, rose comb, does not appear to be a meat bird like a giant or buff, but I could be wrong. She is a decent size just has thin feminine legs. Her feathers are a really dark chocolate brown except at her neckline where there are some splashes of gold in there.
Thanks so much for any input or advice, I appreciate it!!
