please help, do we need to insul our coop in southen mich ?

I live in MA and we get snow here and cold weather also. I insulated 3 of my 4 coops and the 4th coop I insulated half of it. I haven't regretted it.

I'm from Michigan.

One of the reasons is that eggs will freeze in freezing temps.
