Good luck. You can try taking the crop and the skin and sewing it all together. It is going to make a big weird scar but it will close everything up in one go. Then put on the neospirin. Watch for signs of infection as it heals and wait a few days before giving solid foods. Make her scrabbled eggs instead of feed.

How is your hen doing? I had mine get a wound like the one on her back side yesterday. Did she make it?

Well she's alive. Has made it through 4 nights. I sewed her up. We gave her some yogurt and it leaked through one of the stitches. I'm worried about it going into her body. But it seems like she's doin ok. We have her inside. Her sister yells for her before bedtime. We feed her eggs and cheese and a little bit of tuna.
