please help!!!!! ducklings!!!????

please help dose anyone have some experience raising ducklings? I have been planning to get ducklings I had been planning to get one and keep it with me but now im unsure. if I have two ducklings and they are imprinted to me they will never be comfortable when im not there or do they find some comfort in being with each other?
please help!!!

What do you mean by keeping them with you? A single duck or chicken will almost always be happier with a flock mate, but singles can and sometimes do well with a human companion. But do you mind elaborating on if you're talking about keeping them with you as in... in you're apartment, as in a house pet, or a coop?

at first I thought while it was a baby I would carry it around keeping it warm and in other times I thought id keep it in the house in a brooder but I realised that might be a bit intense as I wasn't sure if I could ever leave it. so I thought I might be able to get two so I could leave them in the brooder more often to get things done. when they grow up they will be living in the coop and free ranging with my pet chickens.

I only feel the need to ask because I worry if I say "Yes, two is better" to someone who says something about keeping a chick or duckling with them I might be misleading someone into a much larger mess or situation that is bad for both the fluffy babies and person in question... and then the house chickens vs coop chickens debate starts!

do you know I have two are they always distressed if your not with them or can they be on their own in intervals?

I know this is also a debated issue but can you supervise ducklings swimming and then them go under the heat lamp within the first few days or is there a certain age?
