Hi everyone, I am a first time duck owner and new to the forum. One of my ducks are acting really lazy and I am worried shes sick. Please help!

I have five female pekin ducks who are all around seven months old. However recently I've noticed that one duck has been acting lethargic and seems to have some trouble walking. The duck seems to be a lot fatter and wider than the rest of them. The ducks used to be inseparable. They would not go anywhere without the entire flock or quack loudly if they got separated, but now sometimes the other ducks would go do duck stuff on other side of my yard and the lazy duck does not follow the flock anymore. I can't tell if the my duck is just lazy or overweight or has any health issues.
Also, the winter is just about passed and one of my ducks started laying for the first time, so I'm wondering if the duck is egg bound. However she does not seem to be in a lot of pain, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else had this experience? What should I do?

I'm not sure about egg-bound, as I don't have experience with that. However, maybe she's hurt a leg? It wouldn't hurt to give her liquid vitamin B complex, just to cover your bases there for making sure her legs are strong. I hope you figure it out and she gets better soon!

If you could take a picture of her and maybe a video of her walking it would help us to help you. Also, where are you located? That is always a help!

Go to your profile and you can see where you can put "location" on it. We don't need your street address but it sure does help to know which continent you're on! We've got people from all over the world on here and trust me, it really helps to know where you are!

Thank you for the suggestion! I will try to pick some up as soon as I can! Sorry, but am I supposed to get the one found it at a pharmacy? Because it seems the ones at tractor supply seem to be for other animals.

Thank you I just added my location! I live in New Jersey. I do not have any current videos but I can upload one tomorrow!

Have you checked her feet for bumblefoot? Last time one of my birds was walking funny it was because of bumble foot. I cut it out and she is doing great now. If she keeps staying in the same place maybe chevk if she has gone broody?

I have not checked yet, but it looked to me that she was not really limping. I will check tomorrow to make sure! Also, I am not sure if she started laying eggs yet. I have only find one egg per day left inside the coop after they are let out in the morning, but I don't know who the egg belongs to.
