Please help, my entire flock of 20 birds has come down with some kind of respiratory illness. My go-to med tylan is indefinitely back ordered so I treated with LE 200. (3 days, .2ml per pound) My birds seemed to be improving.
But now whatever they have has come back and has moved to their lungs. They rattle when they breathe and are coughing and sneezing along with discharge from the nose and swollen eyes.
My rooster has stopped eating and drinking entirely but I’ve been giving everyone electrolyte water.
Please help, I’m at a loss as to what to do. These are my pets so please don’t tell me to cull my flock. I also know that they are carriers for life. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
