Hello everyone. First time backyard chickening. We got 10 chicks, now about 18 weeks old, and we think most are Roos. Some started to crow and others are trying to crow if that makes sense. They told us they where EE and the others 2 are silver and chocolate laced orpingtons. What does the forum think??

I think the only pullet is the buff laced blue EE.
Easter Eggers are a mix between a blue layer and a brown (not dark as a Marans) layer, so they come in many shapes and colors.
The other two look like Orpingtons, but only one is a chocolate laced one, the other seems black laced to me.

We will keep the black EE Cockerel as he is the calmest sweetest and will even sit in your lap. He is not that loud as well. So the other pullets are 3 Lavender orpington and the EE in pic #2.
