Ok. It looked pretty much like an earthworm. Because I've had them for such a short time, I really have no base standard of 'healthy' for them. They still aren't laying eggs. Should I replace all the bedding in the coop tomorrow? Would that be good? I'm going to replace the feeder that we were given with a milk jug feeder. I think that it will hold more food and prevent any poop getting in the food.Did you notice whether it looked like an earthworm?
If you see another one, take a good look and maybe a picture as well.
If you do not ever see another one, then you can probably assume it was an earthworm, and not worry. (Because no matter what kind of worm, just one isn't a big deal.)
It's also possible to take a fecal sample to a vet to be checked for worm eggs and other parasites, although I wouldn't bother unless you have other evidence first (like if the chickens are not healthy, or you see more worms and they are not earthworms.)
Edit: I just remembered that there is some diarrhea that I can see in the run. I have no way to tell which bird this is from, but I could try to look at their vent feathers, I guess.
