This morning when I went out to let out the chickens, one hen and my rooster are opening their mouths and making a sound, like wheezing. They are distressed. Only these two are doing this. Like something is caught in their throats? I examined the hen, nothing I can feel. I gave them all a left over turkey breast yesterday afternoon, so I wondered. But they were all ok when they went to bed last night, they got up like this. I don't know what to do for them. I don't want to lose any of them, but especially my rooster. He is the absolute best rooster anyone could have. He's prefect. There is no runny nose, eyes anything like that, that I can see.

It could be stridor, a sound they can make when a small piece of food is caught in the airway. That usually goes away in a few hours or overnight after they cough it out. Here is a video showing a chicken with stridor, and let us know if this sounds like it:

Are they moving their necks around to adjust their crops as well? Getting such a yummy treat, some may have gorged or eaten so voraciously, that they inhaled some. Be sure to provide them with water in a couple of places so all may drink. If you need to upload a video to YouTube or a similar site, we can take a look.
