If they were weaned off heat it probably wouldn't be an issue, but it sounds like they were still relying on some heat as it was being provided. Do you know how warm it was for them in the warmest area?

Is there anywhere "indoors" like a garage or shed you could put them for a few days to acclimate to cooler temperatures?

Silkies and/or frizzles I assume? For standard feathered birds, 9 weeks would be pretty excessive.

I'm not sure they would survive, it is about 0 degrees f. here.

Can’t you bring them inside until you figure this out? It doesn’t sound like you think you’re coop is insulated enough when you say you think they’ll freeze to death.
