That's Yarrow, a very nice ornamental. I don't think it's poisonous at all. I'll look...

Hahahaha! It can decrease sperm production...it's a medicinal, and it's okay- dog was likely self medicating- maybe he had a headache or bruising?

I don't know, my other dog was back in this same area eating something two days before she died. When I went back to check on her, I didn't see aynthing, I just wanted to make sure that this wasn't what killed her, and what could kill my other dog.

Are you sure it is Yarrow?

It looks like pineapple weed. Not poisonous, as a matter of fact, the small yellow flower hears it gets in the summer can be boiled down to make a pineapple falvoured tea.

I think it's identical to my yellow yarrow. I think the pineapple weed looks more upright, but neither should be dangerous.

Did you get any info re: your other dog and what may have been the cause? That's awful- I'm so sorry!

We still don't know what killed the other dog, there were so many possibilities, I posted pictures of other plants on that thread that were also in the same area. I'm thinking it could have also be lilies, they are towards that part of the yard.

As far as I know, yarrow isn't poisonous but it does induce vomiting if enough is eaten.
