Could anybody help ID this bird for me? I believe it is a Gold Comet, hybrid or Red Sexlink. She is a 4 month Pullet.

Also when I introduced her to the flock comprised of 2 month and 3 month pullets she has been assertive with pecking. Not pulling out of feathers or causing any of the other birds to bleed but I wonder if this is normal pecking order shenanigans or should I look into rehoming her.

Red sex link.

At 4 months old she is getting closer to hitting maturity so she's more likely to peck at the youngsters. As long as she's not being overly brutal and drawing blood you can let things go for now. But do provide extra feed and water stations. She can't guard them all.

Great advice. Thank you so much!

Update

I found that my speckled Sussex Pullet that is almost 10 weeks old was bleeding by her tail feathers. It looks like that 4 month old Pullet (Red Sex Link) was the culprit. In light of this, I put her outside the pen to free range and I have the flock locked up inside the coop separate from her. They can both see her but I thought it he best to separate them for now. I am presently cleaning out the bedding in the coop due to the blood inside. Not a lot but I figured the birds would appreciate fresh bedding. Thoughts on next steps?
