I have two khaki Campbell drakes. This morning one was limping. I found a clump if feathers by there pen. I’m assuming a coon or possum tried getting them. Carli(the ones that’s hurt) had a awful wound by his leg. I can’t give pics right now cause he’s resting. We gave him a bath and sprayed blue kote, saline wound wash, and eye drop stuff. He eats and drinks very Slowly and it’s obvios it hurts to walk. We put him the pen and in a bit we will be moving him to the garage. He’s very lathargic. My mom doesn’t think he’ll make the night. He’s my baby. I hav to save him. We can’t affird taking him to the vet. I’m bawling my eyes out. If u can’t help then pls help comfort me st least. I’m so sorry, Carli!!!

I am so sorry!!!! it sound like you are doing everything you can, possibly some Nutri-drench and/or electrolites??? How sad! i am praying! Bless you and your Duck!

I the only other thing I can think of is dilute iodine this is a very strong antibacterial that helped save my chicks before you could also feed her through a syringe by loquidising the food or use of honey and water that sometimes helps energy wise good luck hope she survives!

We will be putting apple vinegar in the water, and adding chicken vitamins. We will also be putting a radio outside so that will hopefully keep the coons away

I’ll try giving him the apple I’m munching on know. He loves apples. I just don’t want him to move very much so my mom said I should let him be right now so I don’t scare him and hurt himself worse
