Help! today my precious Neon, while i was cleaning out the coop, was acting strange. she had her back hunched and she looked like she wanted to lay an egg. I just noticed this at twelve. then, when i was going to put everybody away, she was still like that, but she was dripping poop out of her bottom. i picked her up ( she never lets me do that!) and i moved her to a spot where i could sit down. she was still trying to lay, and after a couple minutes, she layed an egg. but the thing is, she usually just pops it out. it never takes her any time. she even does it on the run sometimes!!
but i was wondering if this could be a sign of getting egg bound. I'm really worried! PLEASE HELP!!! thanks in advance!

Well it's good that she was able to expel it. It doesn't necessarily mean that's she'll have egg bound issues in the future, if that's your concern.
Hens can also get that hunched over look when trying to push out soft shelled/jello eggs, which may happen on occasion.
If you ever think she's really eggbound in the future, you can soak her in warm water (to relax her so the egg can pass more easily), keep her in a warm area, and lube up her vent with vaseline or something similar.
