Please help! Is this male or female?

Thank you, the seller has offered to take it back in exchange for another but i'm worried i'll just end up with another rooster! Do you know if the females should have a salmon chest now they are about 8 weeks old. Thank you.

I don't know about feather color, but comb color and size will be a 100% indicator of sex. Pick the chick that has pale flesh colored comb and wattles. Also the females will have small combs/wattles while the males will have larger and redder ones.

Here I found your answer, heres a pic of an 8 wk old female Cream Legbar (Found posted by GaryDean26 's pullet)

Thank you so much that is a great photo! Unfortunately looking at that photo I don't think he has any females. It's just a shame I am not allowed to keep males because he is lovely I will be sad to see him go. I appreciate all your help.

Legbars are autosexing by color. Females can't have the color that your roo does. Sorry.
