We have noticed our hen wheezing for 2 days now. We were away for 4 days prior, so are unsure on the exact start date unfortunately.

She is wheezing with every breath, will not eat or drink since I have been closely watching her and she holds her head extended 99% of the time. She will also extend further and give a high pitch chirp and shake her head or move to the side. I tried giving her some water and that seemed to make her breathing worse for a minute. Google makes me think it is gape worm but I'm not sure as I read it is rare and also it is winter here.

I tried calling the local vet for medication or any help but they said they do not deal with poultry. Nearest place would be 2.5 hours.

Any recommendations? Also, should I be worried about the rest of my flock? She is currently separated from them.

Can you please get pictures or a video to link here through YouTube or something?
How's her crop feel?

This is a screenshot while she is wheezing, struggling to take a good breath. Her crop feels lose.

Since I posted last she did go for some water. And then I offered food but after she ate some if resulted in her wheezing more and going into extension again.

Now that some time has passed she is wheezing but not staying in full extension constantly like in the photo.

I've never seen a pose just like that. Can you look down her throat with a flash light for anything caught?
