It's not your fault it's the websites fault it told you the wrong thing. If you would like a better way to tell the chicks genders then you can use this method though it's not 100 percent. You flip them on their backs in your hand then wait for them to stop kicking their legs. A pullet will hold it's legs inward a young rooster will hold it's legs outward.
I don’t think we should care about the gender of out little guys, who cares if they are hens or roosters, let them grow if they are hens keep them if they are roosters and somehow your city prohibits them, give them to a farm, if I didn’t leave my intelligence outside yesterday I wouldn’t have hurt one, though I’m not sure if it was me that hurt him/her, I blame myself
, I'd hoped to hear she's doing better, I personally would not wait beyond this afternoon/evening to make the decision, I know that it won't be a easy one. But it's going to be a quality of life decision if nature doesn't take her herself. I try not to do to them, what I would not want done to me, I don't know that I will be ever able to harvest chickens. Don't be to hard on yourself, these things do happen.
