It's not your fault it's the websites fault it told you the wrong thing. If you would like a better way to tell the chicks genders then you can use this method though it's not 100 percent. You flip them on their backs in your hand then wait for them to stop kicking their legs. A pullet will hold it's legs inward a young rooster will hold it's legs outward.

I don’t think we should care about the gender of out little guys, who cares if they are hens or roosters, let them grow if they are hens keep them if they are roosters and somehow your city prohibits them, give them to a farm, if I didn’t leave my intelligence outside yesterday I wouldn’t have hurt one, though I’m not sure if it was me that hurt him/her, I blame myself

my chickens are about 3 weeks old, and thanks for trying to make me feel better but it is completely my fault unless it’s mereks which I highly doubt, little do we know owning pets
can crush our hearts if anything god forbids happens to them, I’m really attached to my lil guys

although it’s eating and drinking some water it looks almost dead, I’ve tried reviving her through so many methods but no luck,
it just doesn’t stand anymore it will fall and it’s barely moving, I wrapped a towel around it for the head to rest, I also looked into vets but none specialize in poultry in my area, I feel like total crap for following a stupid method and hurting one of my favourite chicks, but when I held it in my hands it continuously vibrates, could this be mereks? I had about 14 chicks, 13 are doing well and growing really fast, eating and drinking this morning but this one isn’t, is there anything I could do, I would hate to put it down just in case it’s somehow revives itself

, I'd hoped to hear she's doing better, I personally would not wait beyond this afternoon/evening to make the decision, I know that it won't be a easy one. But it's going to be a quality of life decision if nature doesn't take her herself. I try not to do to them, what I would not want done to me, I don't know that I will be ever able to harvest chickens. Don't be to hard on yourself, these things do happen.

Doubt it's mareks, especially if it was fine before the 'test',
and it doesn't usually present until birds are older than 3 weeks.
Could be nerve damage in neck.
Only you can decide if and when to euthanize.
If a bird can't stand/move and eat/drink on it's own after about 48 hours, I put them down...have let them go longer in the past, now I don't prolong the suffering.

Was it totally fine before the sexing attempt?
Sometimes chicks just fail to thrive, so its droopiness now may be another issue.
I have had great success with slow chicks by using Nutridrench, if you can get some. It’s a fast-acting vitamin that gets into their bloodstream almost immediately. Especially good when they aren’t eating/drinking on their own.

When I held my baby chick it’s vibrating could this mean that it’s contaminated with virus or injured? would injuried chicks or chickens vibrate
today he/she has gone much weaker than what it was yesterday, it just rests, than has a bit or two goes back to sleep, I haven’t slept all night I hate the fact I could such a good heart that it affects me deeply which is why I hate having pets, if something happens it breaks my heart

I'm sorry about your chick
The vibrating is likely from injury/possibly neurological problem since she is only 3 weeks and there was an incident.
I would do as suggested by @WVduckchick get some Poultry Nutri-Drench and give her 2-3 drops direct dose daily.

I would not say she has Marek's.

I followed an article online that showed 2-3 description’s on sexing baby chicks, I followed a stupid method which is to hold the baby chick from the fur behind his neck, and checkout the feet, which I did ( big mistake )

It started to limp on one side which was to right, I felt so terrible and still do, it keeps opening his peck and closing again when I held him with a towel he was vibrating, not sure if it’s the pain I caused it or if it’s something else,

Ive done all I can since last night and made sure to keep watering its peck, adding sugar and water combination tried giving it a yolk, and still weak and nothing,
