UPDATE:The little chick is now 6 weeks old. I am wondering if this easter egger is a rooster. What do you think?

I am not seeing the feathering that would say male but that is a lot of red coming in on the comb and wattles.

My cochins have always gotten red early on though so I am not sure.
I would go with hen until I hear a crow.

Since he has a rose comb he might be a Wyandotte/Easter Egger cross cockerel.
