I heard freckles on the beak are female but im not an expert but i was told that by an expert

Well those are females but the facial fleshing isn't completely the reason why, the whole bird has a feminine size and shape. I have a white duck who looks similar.

muscovies can be tricky for the first year.
if you have a drake he will be larger. and have thicker legs.

You should know definitely by the first few months, they just are so not the same here a shot of my 4mth old drake and a young female that i have she is "supposed" to be the same aging a June hatch, but i think she's a bit older more like 5/6mths or so.. but regardless the differences are extremely obvious.
