Refrigerate the coconut oil till it's solid, about a spoonful. Then cut it into slivers and pop it into the chick's mouth. It melts quickly. Is the chick's vent clean? No pasty butt? Also, before giving the chicks worms, you should provide them with chick grit for at least a day. Put it in a bowl so they can help themselves to it, as much as they want. They can't digest anything other than their chick feed without grit in their gizzards. It makes up for thrir lack of teeth.
