Please Help Me and My Little Duck!

I bought 2 ducks about two weeks ago and one of them died earlier today... I am not sure the cause of death but I think she might have choked on her bedding or maybe even food even though therr was plenty of water laid out. Furthermore, im worried about my second duck. I dont want her to die too! what can I do to keep her from missing her little partner. She begins screaming every time I leave the room. Im so worried I don't know what to do.

I'm sorry you lost one of your ducks. The other one may be lonesome and that's why she gets loud when she's alone. You'll probably need to get another duck to keep her company.

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know if it works for ducks but, it does for chicks. Give her a stuffed toy to cuddle with and a mirror, so she thinks there is another duck. The duck folks will give you better advice.
