She has white earlobes showing, light brown leghorn. If they were red it would be more questionable since her type is not right for a Welsummer. I have one as well and she is my most skittish bird by far. The only time I can really pet her is when she's in the nest box laying.

I agree, brown leghorn. Mine was never friendly and was my least favorite hen. Consistent layer of nice white eggs, though!

Yep I agree she is a brown leghorn. They are very skittish, even more so than my white leghorns.
