Please help me figure this out

This morning when I went out to check on her, she was standing on the roost so I got to feel her crop. It was soft and squishy and it didn't really seem full.
 
When I got home from school, she was in the same spot so I forced her off the stick and made her eat yogurt with water in it. am I doing the right things?
