She is just sitting in one spot and will only move if someone knocks her over. She has been doing this that I have noticed since 3:30 pm and it is now 6:48 pm.

We checked her behind. The top hole was fine, my husband cleaned the bottom hole and towards the end of the cleaning process it bleed a little.

Please please help. I will blow you many kisses to help get my chickie happy again.

On second thought, I just went back in there and her right foot is hurting. She only puts pressure on it when she walks. I looks like one of her fingers is bent but it might be her leg.

Please help, I know it is Saturday so you should be going out on a date but please post anything to help me.

Should I put her by herself.

The bottom hole is her navel and should be left alone. Is she eating or drinking? Have you seen her do it? Could be a failure to thrive. It happens sometime. Make sure she's getting water and eating. I have on rare occasion lost a chick who failed to thrive, no matter what we did.

Make sure it drinks and that the temp is good in the brooder. I had a shipment came in this week mine are now 7 days old lost 15 out of 25 the 16th one was acting like yours is i took some time made sure he drank this was on friday today he is doing great cant tell him form the others. Make sure to get feed to it also i sprinkled a lot of feed back where the heat is they all seamed to like to eat better back there. hope that helps. by the way what is a date?????

I don't know what a date is either, can't you tell that is why I am posting.

I am putting her in a make shift brooder for the night. I will probably lay there all night and read.

Thank you for helping me out. I think the whole problem is her leg. She will not stand on it. She is the only chick out of 10 that will lay in my hands.

Thanks and any more suggestions is helpful.

She is drinking and eating just fine. Also using the bathroom seems to be getting a little better now that she is by herslef. Just wonder what is the longest I she keep her away from the others?

keep her away till she gets better. missed the legg part sorry keep kinda a rough surface for her to walk on will help i had some chicks last year on smooth surface did not work out real well with leggs. more than likely tho she has gotten hurt by the others. but sounts like she is in good hands now.
