What type of incubator do you have?
I have a Hovabator 1588 which I use continously all spring and summer. It has factory preset electronic temp control. I started in January this year and my hatches were taking longer every time. And more eggs were failing to hatch. I finally bought a high quality thermometer to double check the temp. Although the incubator digital readout showed it being 100 degrees, the new thermometer said it was only 97.8.
I believe that the dander from hatching chicks had built up on the thermostat and was giving wrong readings.
The only way you'll know for sure is to get a calibrated thermometer to double check what the incubator readout is showing.
