This is the feeder I’m currently using I will be getting larger one today.What does the feeder look like?
Are they maybe rubbing the area raw on the edge of the feeder or water dish?
I spend a lot of time with them and haven’t noticed them bothering it at all or the other ones. No mites or lice either that I can see.. it’s more visible after they swim. Can the red be caused by it being to warm in the brooder ?
Could it be the water when I let them swim? I put them in my bathtub with warm water because I didn’t want it to be to cold for themDucklings have red skin, It can become more redder if it becomes inflamed or irritated.
