you're doing great! I've done this a few times before, about 4 times in total... i just couldn't keep my hands off. Two of my attempts (the most recent ones) were horrible though. I think i had contaminated (read: Poopy) eggs from a friend, most of the chicks died around day 18-19 in shell and the two that tried to hatch I tried to help...but the chicks hadn't absorbed all of the yolk yet and they unfortunately passed on after hours of late night tending to.

I wish you the best of luck! Make sure they are moist and don't do any more than necessary! If the chick is peeping really loudly, I would take that as a positive sign, especially if a leg is free! Usually the loud ones have a ton of energy! I would worry if it got too quiet for too long.

Ok so the chick made it through the night in the bator. It is almost dry. How long should I leave it there? Thank you for the help last night,

It is weak right now. Any advice would be apprectiated.
