What appear to be cockerels from Mixed Created Cream Legbar. I still hope that they are pullets but the comb and wattles scream cockerels, can someone confirm or infirm?

I love all the updates! I can confirm, comb size and barring indicates that the Legbar mixes are cockerels. Sorry for all the cockerels! Such beautiful chicks regardless!

I have such bad luck with the cockerels/pullets proportion in my hatches.

First hatch: Light Sussex, 4 pullets, 5 cockerels, not bad.
Second hatch: Ameraucana: 2 pullets, 8 cockerels
Third hatch, the one here: 3 pullets, 8 cockerels

I would say it is somewhat frustrating. Anyhow, seeing how nice the Legbar mix cockerels appearance is coming, I am considering sending my BLR Wyandotte to freezer camp and keep one of them to mate with my other hens. I like crested hens!

Another update. Just as a reminder, they hatched on Nov 10 so 6.5 weeks. Rooster is a BLR Wyandotte.

Please have a second look at #9, feathering turned out to be blue. From the chicken breed calculator, it could indicate this is a pullet instead of a cockerel. See this post: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...lue-laced-red-wyandotte.1557004/post-26393040

#9 is a cockerel. While he is blue barred, he is still barred which indicates he's a cockerel :)
